You take in the beautiful surroundings—the lush greenery, the tranquil pond shimmering in the sunlight, the rustic charm of the renovated barn. Everything feels just right, and you find yourself fully present in the moment, savoring the simple pleasures of family togetherness.
Pickle Ball Anyone? Grandparents vs the Grandkids? Or maybe Tennis, or Half-Court Basketball? Or maybe enjoy the fenced-in hard court for some tricycle time. The Sports Court has options for keeping all ages moving, competitive or not. 4 seasons of "Can-we-please-go-outside" Playtime!
Accessible to all- pool and shuffleboard on the Main Floor- natural bonding fun between generations, or building a fire in the wood stove, or puzzling or playing a tune on the old piano. Two TV's on main level. Air Hockey, Ping-Pong, Foosball, Croquet, Corn hole, and a TV in the walk out basement. 2 sets of French doors open to the backyard dining/firepit area so everyone can stay connected.
3 season fun- three kayaks and a paddle boat, on the 1/3 acre private pond. The floating dock is the center of the action for swimmers and boaters alike for some King of the Mountain playtime or just hanging out on the private oasis. Life jackets and various floats provided. Beside the pond, 1 mile of wooded walking trails for some family meandering.
As the sun fades, outside the walkout basement, backyard dinner and fun at the fire pit. Two picnic tables, lots of bench seating and chairs. Relax watching the night sky shimmer on the pond, retelling of the day's swimming, boating, & fishing adventures under the string lights. Acres of open grassy fields give everyone a chance to spread out and enjoy the rural joy of starlight!

I cannot express how much we love it here! This was our second stay at "The Barn". The second time was just as great as the first, if not better! Lisa and Rich were great with communication and were very helpful and attentive. Since our first stay, Lisa and Rich have made some wonderful updates to the house which helped to make our stay more accommodating. The house itself is not only cozy and inviting but the grounds outside are beautiful and relaxing. Our group came here to celebrate our 29th family reunion and we had the perfect stay. There is something here for everyone and we plan to stay again. I would highly recommend this place for any group large or small looking to make some great memories that will last a
lifetime.

Our 4 night stay at Lisa’s place was perfect. The Barn had an open feel and was large enough for everyone to have space (16 of us). They allowed us to bring our camper and hook into the electric they have available for electric cars! There were multiple games for everyone to enjoy (air hockey, shuffleboard, ping pong, pool, croquet, etc). Three kayaks, the paddle boat and the dock in the center of the pond were top favorites of the 6 grandkids. Comments from the adults : -“The little touches and amenities were impressive – the toiletries and paper products, games, life jackets, gate on the stairs, and everything you could need in a kitchen”. -“I loved the kitchen with the multiple ovens.”-“The kids loved the shuffleboard and pool games.” -“Big yard was awesome for activities (frisbee, soccer, passing the football).” - The whole place was clean & comfortable -relaxing - Lisa communicated well about our stay and expectations as guests. We highly recommend this Airbnb to
anyone!

I can’t imagine a better space for spending summer days with family. This house was appropriate and fun for all ages. We loved sitting on the porch, swimming in the pond, and nights around the bonfire. Fantastic property with friendly, helpful hosts.

“The Barn” was a perfect place for our winter staff retreat… We’ve been on three annual winter staff retreats, and this one far surpassed all of the others!! It supplied every detail that was written and more… And it is surprisingly large …sleeping well over what you would ever expect! Thank you Lisa, for being so ‘on spot’ with me, and all the questions I would ask of you! You have done a beautiful job making people feel right at home… -“and for thatI am truly grateful!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Barn and our
hosts. First off, everything, and I mean everything was clearly spelled out in
the listing. There are pictures and maps and videos and great descriptions of
the place as well as the surrounding area. Lisa always responded to any
question quickly. Upon arrival we were thrilled with the space! There is so
much to do inside. Since we stayed in early December we doubted that we could
spend much time on the property, but it was warm and dry. Lucky us! Our
grandsons were able to explore the woods and fish in the pond. We all agreed
that it would be a great place to revisit at a warmer time of year. Can’t
really say much about the surrounding area since we spent all our time on-site.
It is conveniently located near (but not too close) to retail in case you
forget something. Finally, our only complaint is that we could only enjoy this
great space for two nights! Highly recommend!

The Barn on Evergreen Pond has something for everyone... the draw of the restored history in the 1840's barn, and the private pond beckoning the adventurer, and the games inside and out. You'll find yourself relaxing in the morning sun on the front porch, reflecting on the timeless value of togetherness, knowing that every person you invited is having their own version of fun. No matter the weather, or time of year, there is plenty to keep everyone not just happy, but excited and wanting more.
Invite the whole crew! With almost 40 acres, 14 beds, sleeping 21, 3.5 baths (incl. a main floor bed/bath, with grab bars) and memory-making activities for every age, everyone can be included. Share tales of your day at the 10ft custom maple dining table, or front-porch dining. When the fun gets too loud for the main-floor group, head down to the walk-out basement for games and movies, or outside for s'mores. Whatever your speed, The Barn offers lots of spaces to enjoy being together or drink-in some quiet time. If you have additional guests, or a special event, ask us about our adjacent property to accommodate up to 35.
You likely won't want to leave, but within the area are Cuyahoga National Park, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, NFL Hall of Fame, Cleveland’s big city art, music, dining, as well as nearby local restaurants, seasonal activities, shopping, kayaking. Let us help you find your kind of fun.

Rich and I have poured ourselves into this restoration and renovation over the last decade, cultivating a space where folks want to come and don’t want to leave. As our family of 4 kids has grown up and out, we now lovingly share our wonderful property with you. We believe that connecting with one another, and across generations, happens naturally with thoughtful, fun activities to bring hearts together. Our vision is that you come to recharge yourself and your relationships while making those landmark memories that will be retold years to come. We consider every guest “our guest” and work to make sure everything, both expected and unexpected, is covered, so you can relax and enjoy your vacation too.
